Blogging & Music

Wassup Everybody?!? Just wanted to write to y’all to clear up a few things. I’ve been seeing some negative talk about some of the things I’ve written on my blog. My blog is not to put anyone on blast or anything like that. The things I say are to show kids who are thinking about coming over here how real it is, and I’m just going to keep it 100% real. Because I don’t want anyone coming over here thinking it’s easy. The whole reason I’m doing the blog is because I made a decision that is basically unprecedented. I’m not trying to make myself sound better than anyone else…I’m just trying to tell people what it’s like. So that’s why I talk about the ups and the downs. It’s not a game once you become a Pro, it’s real life. To be great, you gotta put in the time and be responsible off the court.

But anyways. I have a Euro League game tomorrow. I play against my boy Frank Robinson…he’s from LA. Met him playing pick up and stuff in LA. So it could be fun playing against him. I know he’s hyped about the game…I talked to him a few times over skype. We gotta get this Win. Every game is important, but we need this one.

A few people have asked me what kind of music I like to get me ready. Songs I listen to before the game:
Freck Billionaire- Don’t Talk Much, Classic 100 bars
Jadakiss- Bring You Down, Shine
Joe Budden- OverKill
Stack Bundles- Good With the Bad
Fabolous- I Don’t See Nobody
The Game- Still Me, Put You On The Game
Jay-Z- Pray, No Hook
Common ft Pharrell- Announcement
Ice Cube ft The Game-  Get Use To It
Bun B- You’re Everything
Jazmine Sullivan- Need U Bad, (think bout my girl)
And all of Ryan Leslie’s songs.

Happy Holiday’s,

B Jennings

Great list of songs, Brandon. But how come I don’t see any Pac song in it, like “Ambitionz Az a Ridah”? Have a great game, BJ!

Brandon keep your head up dog…what you are doing is becoming a man and taking care of your future and family. If you went to Az. you wouldnt experience life. For however long you are in Italy,….soak it up and enjoy the experienc e. The NBA will be waiting for you…..Best of luck

Brandon you did the right thing paving the way for other players to follow to Europe before entering the NBA. Just like Nat “Sweetwater” Clifton did in 1950 breaking barriers. A movie about him starring Wood Harris will be filming soon. Streetball playa deluxe Jay “Boogie” Brantley (former UNLV PG and Pro Hooptainer and Macleem Sports Wear rep) will also appear in the movie. Check out his blog at: http://macleem.com/hooptainers/

    Enjoy your experience overseas.

Brandon: Totally enjoying your blog and following your experiences overseas. You are indeed blazing a trail that many will opt to follow in the future which does indeed make you the “game-changer”! All the best.

You know your doing something right when people are using the INTERNET to try and put someone down. I appricate you keeping up with this blog and not just giving players who are thinking of doing what you have done a simulation experience of sorts but you are helping the fans keep up on you. It just goes to show that not everyone becomes a sellout when they get some money. I appriciate all your doing, I look forward to hearing your name in june!!!

Keep your head up work hard and you will have it all.

Could you post more about some of the differences between living in US and living in Italy–what’s great, what’s challenging, what you miss of home, what little things you notice, what’s it like for your family, etc.? That would make it even more real. Thanks!
