Merry Christmas

Wassup Everybody,
Hope everyone had a blessed Holiday, and I hope everyone had a warm meal to eat. My Christmas was cool. Me, Terrence and my Mom had dinner at my teammate Andre Hutson’s house. His lovely wife cooked a Bomb Dinner for us. It was great! First time ever being away from home for Christmas…I’m not gonna lie I enjoyed it. It was real laid back. Until next time, gotta get back to this Laker game.

Your Boy,

B Jennings

Boy you seem like a good kid BJ. Keep up the hard work and don’t let the tough times get the best of you, after all you’re doing something very few people your age would ever be able to do.

And don’t for a second think you might have had it better playing in the NCAA - you’re learning to play with your head and earning your minutes among much tougher and more experienced competition. When you get to the NBA you’ll be three times as ready as all those big talents in college who basically have a free licence to launch crazy jumpshots and never get the fundamentals right.

Hey Brandon, looks like your doing really well. Just wanted to know what the training/facilities are like in Europe compared to the US?

Greetings BJennings….Thought I would check out your Blog Spot…I been following you for some time now …since I first heard about you a few years back from my God Sister (ya know S.R.)….Anyway, just wanted to send you some words of encouragement that helped me get through many a tough days..It’s my motto for life…..It’s scripture…Psalms 27 - “The Lord is my light and my Salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Always Keep God first!!!

S.R. tells me you are working hard. Keep doing what you do and striving to become better at your profession. I look forward to watching you bring back some “Magic” to the point guard position in our League…..”The NBA”

    God Bless

    P.S. I appreciate the UA Jacket….Thanks….

I still am not sure if I am more excited for the time to come in the NBA so we can see the “next A.I.” or for the time to come many years down the road when we see the next “Brandon Jennings.”

    Bring back the flat, man.

  7. jason cole December 30th, 2008 at 8:54 am

    Brandon,

Keep your heap up man…If you can tell Andre, Jason Cole from Trotwood and Alisahah Cooke-Cole my wife said Hello.
If you are hanging out with Dre’ then I’m sure he will look out for you.

    Brandon,
It’s a blessing to read your blog and to hear how positive you are for a
young man. Whatever you do in life keep GOD first and he will direct
your path to great things. Please continue to be the role model that
he has intended for you to be for young black men. PEACE.

What’s up BJ? Been a minute bro, ain’t seen u since the Primetime shootout. Say hello to Miss Alice for me. Glad to see you doing it over there. Continue to listen to your coaches and your mom and you’ll be straight. Loved the article in ESPN the mag. You will be so much better when you come home not only as a ballplayer, but more importantly as a person. Keep that hunger going and stay true to the game. Happy New Year and I’ll holla. I’m on FB so get at me. Peace!
