What’s Been Up…

Whassup Everybody,

First—Happy New Year to All!

What’s been up with me?…Nothing really. On New Year’s, I spent most of
the time in the gym working on my shot and playing my brother one on
one. He’s getting a lot better. And he’s strong too for his age.

There are no dayz off for me now. Just been working really hard on
improving the weaker parts of my game, been in the weight room a lot.

Tomorrow we have a Euro League game against TAU. If we win, we’ll be
first in our group. It should be a real good game…they’re a really
good team. But if we play well as a team, we will be ok.

Been watching a lot of college ball lately. I was shocked when UNC
lost…I never thought they would lose. They are a great TEAM. Blake
Griffin is really doing his thing, he probably will get Player of the
Year. James Harden is really doing well too, I used to play AAU ball
with him when we were 10 and 11…he’s come a long way. Hard work does
pay off. And Curry?…He can just flat out score.

That’s it for now y’all.

    Hey Brandon,

Happy New Year!! I like what you said about no more days off. Glad to hear you’re hitting the weight room. If you look at any of the draft sites, your lack of strength is consistenly listed as your biggest weakness. The other is your decision making. My advice on that is just watch alot of film.

Film on your opponents every game, and film re: the best PGs past and present. Watch some vintage Kevin Johnson (he was skinny like you), Magic, Isiah, Stockton, Mark Jackson, Jason Kidd, and then throw on some Chris Paul. Watch how he’s small like you, but still picks up lotsa rebounds just by hanging around the free throw line, and is an in your shirt defender. Notice how strong he is for his size.

Study how the smaller guards like Isiah played D and how Mark Jackson, made his teammates better even though he was slow, couldn’t jump, and couldn’t shoot. Do this and you’ll be a great pro.

If you want to see Brandon Jennings in action, Lottomatica Roma is playing Tau Ceramica again tomorrow night, but the game will be replayed on Saturday, January 10th on NBA TV @ 1pm via tape delay..

Good luck tomorrow night, can’t wait to see the game on Saturday!!

Hey I heard you played a really good game last night, shot the ball well, played good D, and your team was better when you were on the floor. THAT’S WHAT I’M TALKIN ABOUT !! Can’t wait to see the game tomorrow afternoon!!

Well all I can say is, your definitely going to be the first point guard off the board in the draft. If not, any team that takes you after them would be in for a sure steal. I’m sure you very familiar with the Chris Paul draft, New Orleans I’m sure was mystified when they saw Chris still on the board at #4. You definitely would fit nicely in with a high tempo offense such as New York, I hate to say that being a lifelong Celtics fan at 23. Then again, seeing you with Rondo in the backcourt in Boston would be unfair, but fun to watch. Good luck with the rest of your euro league season!!!
