GAME vs. ANGELICO BELLA / HBO REAL SPORTS, MARCH 17th
Had a home game against Bella, which we won 78-72. Great game! We played well as a team. Jaaber had a strong game—17pts, 5rebs, 5asst. Hutson played great—10pts, 8rebs. And for me, I got my first double-double (13pts, 10stls). Next up, we’re headed to Greece for a EuroLeague game…there’s supposed to be something like 20,000 people there. It’s going to be crazy…and fun.
Also, I spent some time with Bryant Gumbel this week for a story on HBO Real Sports. He’s a really funny guy…I have a lot of respect for him. He was very down to earth and just keeps it real with you. I want to thank HBO Real Sports for coming over here to do the story…it was a lot of fun. MAKE SURE YOU GUYS WATCH!

10 STEALS?? DAAAAAAAAAAAAMN!! That’s what’s up. You gotta look at those whole Italy situation as a positive, Brandon. I don’t think had you gone to Arizona that they would’ve pushed you as hard as they’re doing in Italy right now. Everybody knows you can score, and handle the rock so proving that against some 18 yr old in college aint that big a deal
But what you’re doing in Italy right now, getting 10 stls, playing against grown men? In a tough PROFESSIONAL league? That’s impressive. Good work youngster. I wish I coulda seen that game.
Keep doing your thing. Stay professional. No more articles in the paper about how they’re not playing you.
You’re about 4 months away from the NBA draft. Stay focused, keep working on getting your body stronger, and your jumpshot consistent (practice the midrange game), and once these draft workouts begin, you’re gonna start killin em.
yo B… Here’s a site for you to kill time. http://manspage.blogspot.com/
can’t wait to see you in the L next year
Congratulations BJ,
finally all the work that you’ve made is paying off!
Your defense has improved so much, keep working like that, but we need you also as a scorer!
Yo Brandon, can you put up some highlights from that game?
Hi BJ!!
I’m a Virtus Roma’s fun. I saw the match against Biella, and I really had fun. You made one of the best match of this year…
I will come to Bologna and i will see your match against Virtus Bologna (and I hope to see other two matches!!!).
So, see you in Bologna, where with you, Ibby, Ruben Douglas, Andre, Sani and all the others you can win against everyone!!!!
VIRTUS ROMA!!
Bro I just want to say to keep playing hard and learn some veteran moves while your over there, I know your gonna tear up the league next year or whenever you want to go. I was in a similar situation when i was 19. (well I wasn’t the best young bball talent on the planet) but i went to the UK to play pro rugby and it was alot different then I expected. But I learned and worked hard and the next season I was 50 times better. I have a feeling you are gonna do the same. Stay up, enjoy it and cherish it, cause next year your gonna dominate the circus that is the NBA.
Brandon, I just e-mailed this to UA’s media relations; figured I’d post it here, too…

Hi,
My name is Donovan Aird. I’m a journalism senior at California Polytechnic State University (”Cal Poly,” for short) in San Luis Obispo, Calif. I’m doing a senior research project on SLAM magazine, which Under Armour athlete Brandon Jennings has been featured in more than once, and even written for, on occasion.
Several people I’ve already interviewed for my topic recommended that I try to speak with a player who’s contributed to SLAM. I think Jennings would be ideal in that he has, but also because he has a contract with a high-profile shoe company and has gained experience playing overseas; as these are both two instrumental components of my project (which addresses sports’ cultures and lifestyles — fashion, music, etc. — and how those cultures and lifestyles impact journalism about the sports themselves).
I know the time difference between Italy, where Brandon plays, and California, is great, but nonetheless, I was still wondering if I might be able to briefly interview him for my topic. It could be done by e-mail because of the drastic time difference. I want to know what Brandon thinks of SLAM over the years. If I could ask him some specific questions about it, that would be great.
If he’s too busy, I understand.
My phone No. is (805) 801-7899 and my e-mail address is donovanaird@gmail.com.
Thanks a lot,
Donovan Aird

Brandon, keep doing your thing boy! eff the haters, stay focused and no one can stop you, believe that! i see you when you get there (the L).
Brandon’s on NBA TV today @ 1pm. They’re replaying Lottomatica vs Pathanaikos from last week.
Brandon we saw your story last night on real sports with Bryant Gumble, you have a very impressing , yet controversial story. It’s good to see you making historical chances and having the courage to just see. I know you can taste the NBA for it is only a few months away. I figure since your appetite is so health for the flavor of the NBA you should chase that down with a ice cold bottle of FLO water.
We’ll be watching the draft praying that your dream that you have worked very hard to accomplish comes true. A mother’s love with do it all the time. It’s a remedy in itself !
