Thank You

What’s up everyone. I know it’s been a while. From the bottom of my heart I wanted to thank my Family, Friends and Fans who have supported me from Day 1, the journey presented many ups and downs but in the end I am stronger for it. Without your support there is no way that I could have reached my 1st goal of being selected to play in the NBA (I am truly blessed). Now the real work begins, I’m off to the gym to get it in. I can’t stop and won’t stop. I’m on a Mission to be the best I can be.

Again, thanks for all the love and support.

Until next time,

BJ

    Damn Brandon,

I’m not gonna lie, I’m still upset the Knicks didn’t pick you. On the bright side, I just hope that playing in a smaller market there’s gonna be less distractions for you, and you can just focus on ball. Hopefully when you’re a free agent in a few yrs Milwaukee won’t be able to afford you, and the Knicks can steal you away! Remember, everyone in the NBA has talent. But very few have the focus to to be great.

    Talent+Focus = Greatness

Hey Brandon. I’m so happy for you. I don’t watch or follow sports as much as I used to thats why I’m a little late to finding out about this blog.

The first time I found out about you leaving for Europe I was so happy for you. Finally some black kid with sense. Just a few minutes ago I was on ESPN looking at the Vegas Summer league coverage and I was a little surprised that you weren’t part of the highly touted guys. So i read some of the comments and it was clear to me you were outperforming your peers.

Some of the comments* alluded, to the fact that you are been snubbed to make sure you do not spark a revolution in young men going over to Europe to play ball. Too bad it is too late. Your a trail blazer. I hope you are aware that more people in the basketball institution’s in this country want you to fail. I want you to prove them wrong. Nothing wrong in having choice. This is no different from hundreds of years ago when black people had little or no choices. But that is another topic for another day.

So again I was extremely happy for you. What you have done and continue to do will change college ball forever. Please watch over yourself don’t have slip ups. Have your family around you and listen to your Mother. I’ll keep an eye on you from afar. Be the best human being you can be.

    Peace

*Here is one of the many comments that i was referring to
“Brandon Jennings is a top talent in this draft. I feel like 80% of the pre-draft reports about this kid were either BS, embelished or just plain playa hate. He’s a future star.”
